Lunchtimes

Cooked lunches are provided at a cost of £2.20 a day. Each day there is a choice on the menu which always includes a vegetarian option.  Menus are sent home weekly. Menu orders with the correct money should be returned to school by Wednesday each week. Please place order slips and money in a sealed envelope with your child’s name and class on the front.

If you prefer your child to bring a packed lunch it must be packed in a named unbreakable lunchbox.  These are placed in the hall foyer at the beginning of each day.  We ask that sweets, chocolate, fizzy and highly flavoured drinks are not sent as part of a lunch box and processed foods are kept to a minimum.

Children are supervised at lunchtime by our team of School Lunchtime Supervisors. They eat their meals in the school hall.

If you are in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers allowance, Child Tax Credit-with a joint income not exceeding £13,910 and NOT receiving Working Tax Credit (as assessed by the Inland Revenue), support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 your children are entitled to free lunches. Please apply to the school office.
