Getting to School
We encourage our pupils to walk to school whenever possible. There are two pedestrian gates. For pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 who wish to cycle to school there is cycle storage available, although the school is unable to take responsibility for any loss or damage. Prior to bringing cycles to school parents must complete a permission slip that is obtainable from the school office. For the safety of all, cyclists must walk their cycles onto the school site. For parents wishing to drive to school we ask that you do not park in the school car park or block access for local residents. School transport is available for pupils who live in surrounding villages but is dependent on certain criteria. To check eligibility please contact School Transport Department on 01823 355683.
Dogs are not permitted on the school grounds.
The entire school site is a ‘No Smoking’ area.
Parents are asked to send their children to school after 8.45 and just before school starts on very cold or wet days. Supervision starts on the playground at 8.45. School doors are open at 8.50. All children should stay on the playground until collected by their teacher at the start of school.
