Calling all pupils!
When snow falls it is a special time for us all. I hope you have been having a wonderful set of new experiences such as building snowmen, throwing snowballs and sledging. There is something special also about crunching in the snow, having that tingy feeling in toes and fingers and the beauty of the snowy scenes everywhere. This winter will become a special memory for you. I do hope you have lots of photographs of these experiences. There have been some wonderful snowmen on display in gardens close to the school. I have been enjoying using my camera to record the scenes and will share some of my pictures in assembly. if you have a camera at home I would love it if you had a go at taking a photograph so you can always remember this special time. Could you take a photo and bring it into school? It can be anything at all to show 'Winter 2010'.
I have also been feeding the birds and enjoyed watching lots of new visitors to my garden including fieldfares, redwings, blackcaps, robins, blackbirds, lots of starlings, blue tits, long tailed tits and great tits. I wonder if you are doing the same. The birds need our help at this time of year. Why not have a go at making some bird cake for them. you will need an adult to help. I have attached a link to a recipe for you.

Finally do keep a diary of all that you are doing. As I said earlier......this is a special time.
I hope that we will be able to see you all tomorrow. Keep checking this website for information
