History - we are about to begin work on Ancient Egypt... See if you can discover the names of 3 pharaohs and find out what pyramids were used for. For an extra challenge - once you know what they were for, see if you can plan your own pyramid - you will need to think how to make it secure against robbers!
Literacy - we are going to be writing the biography of Howard Carter - find out what a biography is (you might have some on your bookshelves at home!) and then see what you can find out about Howard Carter.
