School closure -Monday 11th January

Problems..problems!

Over the weekend we were called out to discover the water pipe linking the top of the site to the school building had burst. Property services were contacted and one of their contractors came out but the problem could not be repaired as the pipe is 'larger than standard size' and therefore the part needed cannot be obtained until Monday.

Plumbers are still working on the problem at the top of the site which appears to have been caused by frozen pipes underground. With temperatures as they are, this problem is proving difficult to solve. 

Workmen return early on Monday morning.

I am anxious to keep this disruption to pupils, parents and staff to a minimum and we will do our utmost to reopen as soon as is possible. I would be grateful if parents and carers could keep checking this website for more information. Further information will be posted on a regular basis, if you could pass this on to any families who do not have internet access I would be grateful.
