Getting involved in the life of the school
We welcome the involvement of parents in the life of our school. Here are some of the ways parents are already involved:
• Helping in the classroom by hearing readers or testing pupils on their times tables awards
• Helping in the school library by changing reading books
• Helping on school visits
• Assisting staff in the organisation of after school clubs
• Helping with curriculum projects eg History Days, Art, cooking etc
• Being a PFA member to help organise social and fund-raising events for the school
• Becoming a Parent Governor and contributing to the running of the school
• Providing constructive feedback through questionnaires or the suggestion box in reception. This helps us to continue to evaluate performance and improve the school.
