Meeting the needs of all children

If your child is in need of additional support we may place them on a structured programme which is taught either individually or in a small group by a member of staff. They may also be referred for further assessment through specialists from the Teachers Support Service, the school’s Educational Psychologist or the Speech and Language service. Whatever action the school takes, you will be informed.  Pupils who are performing at a level above age related expectations will be placed on the school’s ‘More Able’ register. More able pupils are extended by a wider, more in-depth curriculum. Parents will always be informed if their child is placed on this register.
