Children in Need
The children had a fantastic time on Friday as they were raising money for Children in Need. Year 6 organised a wonderful Pay to Play session and Pudsey got covered in coins.
Shoe Box Appeal
We were delighted with the response to our Samaritans PurseShoe Box appeal. 41 boxes in total were collected to be sent off to children in Eastern Europe. Thank you for your generosity.
Footballing Success!
Congratulations to our football team who have qualified for the EFSA finals. These are scheduled to take place at Mudford Recreation Ground on November 20th.
Visual Arts Forum at Bows Wharf
On October 19th I was invited by SPAEDA to do a presentation to artists and teachers across Somerset about our Arts Week based around the National Gallery's Take One Picture approach.
Reading Challenge
Our annual Reading Challenge starts on Monday. Will your child achieve the target of 24 reading entries by 4th December? Reading Challenge Record books will be sent home and we ask for your support in encouraging your child to keep to a regular reading habit. A certificate awaits all who achieve!!!
