Our class consists of year 3 and year 4 children plus the class teacher Miss Stanton, and the support staff Mrs Rees and Mrs Laird. We are also lucky enough to occasionally be visited by Miss Strickland who teaches on Monday and Mrs Ramwell who teaches us PE and ICT.
In Aller class we came up with 5 main targets using our class name, these are;
To be Active
To always Listen
To always Look at the person talking
To always try for Excellence
And to show Respect
We used these targets to come up with our class charter which looks like this:
- Respect other people and their property
- Always act sensibly
- Set a good example for the rest of the school
- Listen to each other
- Always be helpful.
We all signed this charter and we aim to stick to it for the rest of the year.
The “Star of the Week” award is up and running in our classroom, this is presented to a child that has made an extra effort in class that week.
All children who work hard to show good learning behaviour earn “Golden Time” on a Friday afternoon. Their good behaviour is recognised and celebrated and they are allowed to choose the activity they complete.

Planned trips
In order to discover more about the Tudors we have planned a trip to Montacute house in October where we will take part in a range of activities and have a good look around. This trip will link to both our History and our Art unit.
